(The town later changed it’s name to Erwin, NC in 1926)
Thomas Drug Company opens Durham, NC.

Thomas Seashore Drugs is one of the first retail pharmacies in the Carolinas planning to remove soda and candy from their shelves in an effort to promote nutrition and community wellness.
