Every generation boasts a family pharmacist, and every generation brings care and compassion to the communities they serve. Take a look at how we got started.

E. R. Thomas Drug Company opens in Duke, NC.
(The town later changed it’s name to Erwin, NC in 1926)

Thomas Drug Company opens Durham, NC.

Edward Ragland Thomas, R.Ph. (great grandfather) is licensed in pharmacy 1902.

Edward R Thomas, III, R.Ph. (father) is licensed in pharmacy. Sandra Thomas (mother) helps with bookkeeping, and shortly thereafter, becomes a partner.

“Thomas Seashore Drugs” is established and the stores begin rebranding to meet the growing customer demand in community health services.

2020

Thomas Seashore Drugs is one of the first retail pharmacies in the Carolinas planning to remove soda and candy from their shelves in an effort to promote nutrition and community wellness.

2021

Thomas Seashore Drugs partners with with Apothecary St. James. Bringing the best pharmaceutical services to the Coastal Carolina areas.
